D. Mark Tidwell is a Founder, President, and Chief Investment Officer of Bison Investment Advisors. He leads the private wealth management and investment management part of the practice. Along with his partner, they oversee the investment advisory aspects of the firm. Mr. Tidwell’s approach to wealth management is consultative, holistic and solution driven.

With 25 years of financial services experience working with clients, he brings a goal based approach to clients and prospective clients.

Mr. Tidwell has been a Certified Financial Planner,™ for over 13 years and is a member of the Financial Planner Association® of Houston.

A native Houstonian and graduate of Texas A&M University.
